Matt Damon doesn`t regret not having a son
The 40-year-old actor - who raises 12-year-old stepdaughter Alexia and daughters Isabella, four, Gia, two, and four-month-old Stella with wife Luciana - feels he has learned a lot from life by living in an all-female household.
He said: "Do I still hope to have a boy? No. I still hope to have a marriage.
"It`s a whole different energy being surrounded by women. I am getting a new perspective on the world that I`d have missed if I had boys."
Despite his attitude, the `Adjustment Bureau` star admits his children find it easy to manipulate him into giving them what they want.
He recalled to Britain`s Glamour magazine: "When Isabella was 18 months, she was trying to get a treat out of me. I said no and she asked me again so I caved in.
"Then my wife came into the room. Isabella looked up at her mother, shyly smiled and put her head down. I realised that at 18 months old, this creature had control over me.
"Men don`t have a chance. I feel we`re such different species."
